Glebe Von Wood
Sharing the love of this magnificent breed.
Quality Breeders of German Shepherds. We breed from long & short coated, straight back, well natured, happy pets. We ensure that all of our dogs are Hip Scored, Elbow Scored and DM Tested, parents are also checked for Haemophilia.
Our parents are quality GSD's that we urge you to come and meet - all of them.
We do not over-breed and we pride ourselves in the social interaction our dogs enjoy.
All pups produced by ourselves will not be effected by the genetic form of Degenerative Myopothy (DM).When we look at a pairing of parents, we ensure that the Inbreed Co-efficient is suitably low to increase the gene pool and minimise where possible, health problems.
To back this up we are now providing a DNA Profile for all of our parents, via by Animal Genetics.
This will allow you to check on the parentage of your puppy again by using Animal Genetics.
As you would expect, puppies leave here at 8 weeks old, with their:
1st Vaccination & Health Check
Micro-chipped
Wormed from 3 weeks of age
Reared on quality Food, which will leave with your puppy to include
4kg Of Pero Duck & Sweet Potato Kibble
You will also take away with you all relevant paperwork to include:
5 Generation Pedigree
Kennel Club Certificate
Sales Contract
Health Check Sheet form our vets
Growth chart for the whole litter from 3 weeks of age
Copy of Parents Health Results
We breed for health and temperament and not for colour.
We do not interbreed and we do not use interbred GSD's to produce pups from
We are happy to keep pups longer than 8 weeks in addition to having them sent to various countries as long as we have met the future owners and that you in turn have met ourselves and your intended pups parents.
Pups will usually leave at a weekend, on or just after they are 8 weeks old.
Any additional days after the first weekend being 8 weeks old, will be charged per 24hrs - the same fee as our boarding rate.

Great grandson of Roma & Vito, Kenya & Ryder

Quite a Pedigree this young man has, a magnificent fusion of all of my historic stud boys bar 2, White Charlie & T’Challa.
Just the most unusually calm pup, loving, loyal, friendly, responsive, happy, playful, I could go on and on. He is my pride and joy and even if he does not make the grade for breeding, he will stay with me as the wonderful companion that he already is at 7 months.
The deepest and softest of coats, a warm rich sable – open to debate on what colour sable – he changes and grows on a weekly basis….like a strong sturdy weed!
If Boy does make the grade to breed from, I will so very excited to place his pups into the arms of their new owners, simply taking a huge amount of pride in all that we have achieved with the GSD over the many years we have had the pleasure to be in each other’s lives.
The Boy made the grade…….I am so excited to find him suitable girls to produce some wonderful pups with.
As a young adult Boy, remains super chilled, he has a manner about him that projects his status with the girls, but plays well with the GSD’s and the terriers alike and still loves the company of Rupert our male (neutered) Patterdale.

Babushka, wow she is wonderful, just wonderful.
I have always really liked the calm nature of her mother Cleo and Lesley at Gentlebears was good enough to save this precious little lady for me.
Lesley and I have had for many years a great relationship not just with our dogs but as friends and Tiger, my 2nd stud boy was from Lesley at Gentlebears.
Babushka is kind and calm, she is happy to explore on her external walks and to chill at the kennels and watch the world go by.
She is currently very long and rangy with a fantastic solid black coat.
She plays out with her mate Frederika and is good when we have some of the boarding dogs out to play.
Babushka can take a little time to work new people out, but she is sweet and kind, not aggressive and snappy. She simply likes to work you out first….then if you’re nice, she’ll love you.

An absolute ray of sunshine this little lady is.
Confidence and happiness spill out of Frederika by the bucket.
She was tiny, but mighty. Both parents are very generously sized GSD’s & she did catch! Her confidence and playfulness no matter who she is out with is simply wonderful. I love her.
I have a huge soft spot for the black GSD’s as those of you that know me are already familiar with, so when Freddy came along, she simply had to be a keeper.
Raising Freddy will be our pleasure.
Frederika, continues to excel, she is exceptionally bight and giving, she listens and watches and learns and thrives.
She is loved x

I have stalked this boy since Christina started to post his images on facebook.
What a head, what a face, what a boy.
Loving and cuddly beyond belief.
A real giant of a dog, so well put together and moves like a dream.
He is finding his feet here with us and the girls and seems to be enjoying himself along the way.
He has quickly become a favourite amongst us and we are very excited to place him to some of our more traditional working line girls.
He has received his ‘Champion’ status by the American Kennel Club for his breed, and I can clearly see why.
Rook, is an absolute joy of a boy. Simply perfect.
His external walking is exceptional, along with his lead control and disregard to other dogs around him.
He loves water as we found out when visiting the local Moira canal!
His loving nature, structure, size and presence makes him the beautiful soul that he is x

I find it almost unbelievable that Kiss and her sister Vienna are GSD’s!!!
Each day I look at them and say….really? Are you really a GSD?
Well Embark says that you are indeed 100% GSD
Who would have thought that Stone, a 100% working line dark sable, short coated GSD could be their grandad?
The Panda marking too is truly unusual, it’s worth a google (if you dare) search and a good read up on the subject.
Anyway, back to Kiss.
I named her after her facial markings and her resemblance to the band ‘Kiss’. I also named her after reading an article about the first GSD that came to America to become the first guide dog, again worth a google, I found the story fascinating and although Kiss’s owner renamed him Buddy, I wanted to name our usual faced girl Kiss.
She is friendly, super chilled and listens when you ask her to do something. She will do anything for a groom and a good fuss. Attentive and kind, she is great out on external walks and is doing well with Mea when she gets to join in with the Day Creche dogs.
All in all, a super little lady that I am very pleased to have the pleasure of raising.
Kiss, will be 2years old this summer 2026. She is so much like her daddy Boy, kind, always happy, loving, absolutely thrives on being fussed. She loves her buddy Joy, when I take the 2 of them out together, their lead control and calmness is something for me to take so much pride in.
Simply beautiful.
Later in 2026 Kiss hopefully will have her first litter. The sire to the litter would either be Evander or Rook…I am as yet undecided.

Flora is as her name suggests, nurturing.

She is kind but firm, happy to play out with lots of different dogs that come to our day creche sessions and more than happy to chill in the garden with the youngsters.
Flora is a really super girl, one that I feel will go from strength to strength.

Evander bounced into our lives December 2024 and landed from the US, as if he had never not been here.
Super happy & confident, this boy spills over with happiness, love, drive and a desire to please.
We considered that Evander would be a good injection of new blood and brains to our already wonderful dogs.
His white is crystal white and his nose as black as coal, just how I like them.
It’s early days here, but he has no issues with going out with the girls and even coupling up with Queenie & Kiss.
My thoughts are to hopefully put him to my Quattro daughters and maybe bring some white back into our pups, that would be wonderful I think….but lets see what nature decides.
Here is what Evander has achieved before going to America
Grand Champion Montenegro
Grand Champion Kosova
Champion Yugoslavia
Champion Nato
Champion of The Balkans
Champion of the Adriatic
Champion of the Mediterranean

Champion Kosova
Medals aside, he is a smashing boy.
