Ava is 4th generation GVW, Daughter of Grace & Chillie

Granddaughter of Kenya & Ryder Great granddaughter of Tiger & Layla Mother to Boy from Stone

Ava is a gorgeous silver sable girl, great out with our terriers and youngsters.

One of 2 sisters, Ava and Munroe. Calm, kind, gracious a truly beautiful dark silver sable girl. Very, very happy and easy to please.

Ava is being raised by her mother, both a little bossy around food, but very manageable.

I think Ava will fit in just nicely here, she is alert and loves playing out with her young sister, which shows me she has a great nature.

Roll forward a few years……

She is already nicely settled into her semi-retirement home and lives in the same village living with one of our retired boys Cooper and her new family, Neil & Liz, whom I thank with all my heart for giving Ava such a wonderful loving home. Amazing in her nature and her elegance.

Ava is without a doubt one of our best girls and we are very proud to be able to not only show but authenticate such an impressive line of nature and beauty leading all the way to this little lady.

Fantastic on the lead and super chilled in the house environment.

Ava has made the very best of mums, and hopefully will have her last litter with us before she well and truly hangs up her pregnancy boots!

Merlot is Fresh Bloodlines from Bellevue GSD in America

A very impressive example of a short coat liver sable GSD

With Katelyn, his previous owner I know he has had an impressive show career as well as producing some wonderful offspring. Merlot already came with an impressive health screening.

Merlot arrived with us late April 2023.

Merlot grows more and more used to his environment daily.

He is a hit with the ladies and in general he is a super chilled, happy boy.

Lots of change for him to take on board and slowly but surely, we are all bonding and helping each other become familiar. Exercise and fuss are always the way forward and the odd bit of tripe!!!

We are very excited to look at some pairings with our girls, for me I am particularly excited about girls from Stone’s lines, I think the structure and presence will be simply beautiful.

Roll forward to January 2024 and Merlot actively comes for a fuss and a cuddle, he is a big powerful boy who sometimes plays a little rough with the girls in terms of trying to bulldoze them over…other than that he is a superstar.

Merlot has his semi-retirement home already sorted and has been living happily with Nancy and one our retired girls Raine, since March 2024.

I am very lucky to have people in my life who just love GSD’s and offer the very best of loving homes for my wonderful dogs.

A perfect little package of beauty and drive, her ancestors of the Fantastic Limasmythelines shining through.

Aida, is a busy little lady who aims to please, loves a good fuss and is super responsive.

Slightly bossy but happy to play out with other dogs, as long as she is in charge.

A beautifully glossy long coat sable.

Aida boasts the best hips we have ever seen here at GVW, being 0/2

Aida has proven to be a fabulous mum to her first litter of 4 pups.

We have very successfully found Aida a semi-retirement home that can offer her all that she deserves.

Aida is perfectly clean in the house and is very partial to a good sofa!

She has slotted into her new family home very well and we are very grateful to Jan, Don & the boys for working with us, to allow Aida to have her 2nd and final litter.

The love Aida is receiving is absolutely without a doubt priceless.

Thank you

Grandson to Tiger

Boaz is 3rd generation GVW GSD

Boaz came to us in July 2023 as a 4-year-old from a wonderful vet in Holland.

He settled in as if he had always been here. Strong, responsive, loving.

Originally Tiger, my 2nd ever stud boy had mated to a female GSD from Holland and so the story began.

When Boaz came up for re-homing the lady vet in Holland, who has one of our dogs from Athena & Captain’s 2023 litter, was insistent that Boaz came to me as she felt he would complement our breeding programme.

I said we have enough boys….roll forward a few months and the lady had done all of his tests and asked when he could be collected!!!!

I like directness.

And so, Boaz is a firm favourite here with the other dogs, the team and our visitors.

He is very big, but well proportioned just as his grandfather Tiger was.

Boaz brings back into the GVW GSD the fantastic nature of Tiger in the pups that he has produced.

With being only 2 generations off from Tiger but with a fabulous mix of other bloodlines, we really are privileged to have this boy with us.

I am very excited to see him thrive here.

We will be looking for a local semi-retirement home for Boaz as this boys daddy socks have not been hung up a yet, as he produces well balance, well boned, deep coated pups of exception.

As always our dogs will suit someone looking for a constant and loving companion and will not suit to being left alone all day.

This new home will be only with people that we already know and are familiar with our dogs. This relationship can also be formed over a number of months if it is not already present.

This arrangement would mean that at various times Boaz will need to be returned to the farm for a few hours, this would take place then for 3 consecutive days.

At some point over the next few years GVW will pay for the neuturing of Boaz and he will then stay in his new home forever, of course he can always come back to visit.

If anyone wishes to come to meet Boaz, please drop us an e mail
